The Bookmarklet


itaggz.com has created a Bookmarklet to simplify the process of creating bookmarks.

Installation Instructions:


Installing the bookmark requires that your browser "Links" toolbar be visible. The bookmarklet should be added as just another bookmark on this toolbar.

The Bookmarklet:

Internet Explorer 6
Please ensure the Links toolbar in your bwoser is available and visible by following the instructions provided by this Microsoft article.

To add the bookmarklet to your "Links" toolbar:
1. Right-click the link below ("Bookmark @ iTaggz") and select "Add to Favorites".
2. If you're given a security alert, click yes. This bookmarklet is totally safe to use.
3. Click the "Links" folder in the screen that pops up.
4. Click "OK" (or "Add" - depends on browser version)
5. The Bookmarklet should now show up in your Links toolbar
6. Right-click on "Bookmark @ iTaggz" and click "Copy Shortcut"
7. Locate "Bookmark @ iTaggz" in your Links bar, right-click it and click on "properties"
8. Delete the URL and paste what was copied from step 6 into the URL text box.
9. Click "Yes" on the dialog box that pops up

Installation is now complete.

FireFox
To add to your "Link" toolbar, simply drag the link below ("Bookmark @ iTaggz") to your Link toolbar, which is typically just beneath the URL Address toolbar.

Our Bookmarklet has been tested with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6.x on Windows XP
- Firefox 2+ on Windowx XP
- Firefox 1.5+ on Linux

Usage:
While surfing the web, if you would like to bookmark the website you're looking at, click on the Bookmarklet that was added to your browser.

If you are not yet logged in to iTaggz.com, you will be prompted to login.
Once logged in, you should see the "Create Bookmark" entry form with all of the fields filled in except for the tags.
It will however, suggest several tags that can be used for this website.
All of this information was captured by the bookmarklet and sent to itaggz.com.

If the demo worked, the bookmarklet may be used with your current browser.
Please note that this bookmarklet does not currently work with Internet Explorer 7.
